Have your say on fraud, rejected claims & having self-management taken away

The Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS is looking into fraud in our NDIS and has launched an Inquiry. 

The inquiry will cover: 

• how widespread fraud and rule-breaking are in the NDIS, 
• how these issues affect NDIS participants and their families, 
• whether past and current government efforts to fix these problems have worked, and 
• what new laws or other changes might be needed to better protect the Scheme.

Self Manager Hub wants to make sure that your experiences as an NDIS participant or nominee are heard by the government.

We are especially interested in how the changes made by the government that were intended to address fraud have impacted on participants including rejecting necessary claims, subjecting participants to harsh audits, and taking self-management or plan management away.

We have put together a survey so that we can compile real experiences to include in our submission and we’d appreciate your input. There are only 6 questions and all are optional.
